  Excellent selection of vancouver island pottery. The owner keeps a unique array of local and vancouver island work, is always courteous and informative. She is respectful and always has that extra bit of info to add to the conversation. Thanks for such a great business on the island.

  This place is a joke. We have never been to a store so rude and unfriendly we decided to take our business else where. Went to this store 2 days in a row excited to buy some pottery for our home. First day the lady had the Shop doors wide open. We went in and ensured we were out of the way as she was setting up. She was very snarky saying she was not open despite the door being wide open for business. The second day we tried again... being a shack with filthy floors already the lady snapped at my husband to not step into her store with ice cream. It would ruin her floors. Guess what lady? Too late they where already worse than the dirt path out side! Both days we were spoken too like children. We are grown adults in our 40's with our own business. We understand customer service and this place does not have any! I thought Hornby was suppose to be friendly?!
